Last night was the unofficial 26th anniversary of the Cabo Wabo Cantina. I played with Cabo Uno to a packed house. The Cantina filled up early like a birthday bash, we had to shut down the entrance at 8 PM.

Lots of redheads came down, it was as close to the birthday bash as it gets -- I loved it. The real anniversary is Sunday the 17th, but I will be doing the John Varvatos Stuart house event in Los Angeles with Mikey, Vic, and Chad, but I bet there's a hell of a party at the Cantina.

I did a surprise acoustic set with the band Sister Dass tonight at the Cabo Wabo Cantina. We played 45 minutes to 100 surprised guests. It was fantastic - I've never done that patio thing in 26 years. Wow, be doing some more of that! Ps. Blew the PA up on Red Voodoo oooops! Ha. 26th anniversary week starting off with a bang. Hi Sammy My wife and recently went on a Def Leppard Cruise this past January and even though we experienced a few setbacks (death of Jimmy Bain, Joe Elliott having laringitis, and bad weather) we still had a good time. The meet and greets were cool. The food was good. The other bands on the ship did their best to keep us fans entertained. During an Q & A on the ship someone asked Eddie Trunck if Sammy would do a Rock Cruise.

Am so looking forward to seeing Sammy in Norfolk....Last time I saw Sammy was the I can't drive 55 days. But I've always been a fan. Knowing Sammy is a fight fan, (I used to fight when I was a kid like Sammy, although my father forced me into it for the wrong reasons, even though I'm glad I became a fighter) when he plays in Nebraska on September 4th that he gets ahold of Nebraska's own current Boxing Champion Terence Crawford from Omaha. I think they would both appreciate each other.

Would really like to redeem my two $150 gift cards from the Roseville show.
We bought them, had dinner there, went to the show, only to find out that our tickets/gift cards for future use were no longer valid 6 weeks later. feel burned. long time Sammy fan, have the Tat, seen him at least 30 times, but he burned me on this deal.

This was at the Cabo Wabo Cantina - Lake Tahoe tonight. Andrew Hagar and Kelly Kristofferson who call themselves the "Appalachian Murder Bunnies" performed some covers and some really cool originals. Later, I joined them with Aaron S. Hagar, Kari, Samantha, and the man himself, Kris Kristofferson. We finish the night off with me and Bobby McGee, Kris, and daughter Kelly bringing tears to my eyes - it was a family affair to say the least

 

PS Tahoe Wabo rules plenty of redheads on hand. How to hell do they figure that shit out? ha ha ❤
